Since 2019, KARL LAGERFELD is a signatory member of The Fashion Pact, a global, CEO-led initiative to mobilize the fashion industry collective to address the industry’s environmental impacts.

Since 2022, KARL LAGERFELD is a member of Cascale and uses Higg Index tools to support the assessment of social and environmental indicators across our operations, products, and supply chain.

Since 2024, KARL LAGERFELD is a member of Leather Working Group, a multi-stakeholder organization that develops audit standards for leather manufacturers and works on topics including traceability and deforestation due diligence.

Since 2025, KARL LAGERFELD joined the Fur Free Retailer program, supported by the Fur Free Alliance, in connection with our policy on the use of animal fur in our collections.

Since 2023, KARL LAGERFELD works with Open Supply Hub to publicly disclose Tier 1 manufacturing facilities and regularly review and update facility information.

Since 2024, KARL LAGERFELD works with Fairly Made to strengthen supply chain traceability and provide product-level information through Digital Product Passports and life cycle assessments.

Since 2024, KARL LAGERFELD works with Coolset to support greenhouse gas emissions measurement, carbon accounting, and climate target preparation.

Since 2025, KARL LAGERFELD works with Willow Sustainability on our decarbonization roadmap and the preparation and submission of our Science Based Targets for validation.

Since 2024, KARL LAGERFELD works with The Renewal Workshop, part of Bleckmann, to assess, repair, and recondition selected products for resale through our Repair Atelier initiative.

From 2026, KARL LAGERFELD is a member of the Policy Hub to participate in policy discussions and follow regulatory developments relevant to the fashion and packaging sectors.
